NFocus recently completed prinicpal photography for a short promotional video for Lakeland Christian Schools. This video will be an updated video to the project we completed over three years ago. Most footage was shot at the Lakeland Christian Schools campus. However, a few other locations across the city where utilized as well. The NFocus gang spent yesterday shooting with the RED One camera for the first time. What a great experience. The RED One camera is fast becoming one of the most sought after cameras for high-resolution digital imaging. NFocus to Produce Live Event for ASCD


NFocus is producing and directing a live-to-tape event for the ASCD's Summer Conference in Nashville. The ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) is an organization of educators with more than 175,000 members in 119 countries. The ASCD's mission is to promote effective teaching and learning methods for its members and to ultimately realize student success.

The highlight of the ASCD's 2008 Summer Conference is a panel discussion with experts Carol Ann Tomlinson, Jay McTighe, Grant Wiggins, and Robert Marzano. They will discuss three powerhouse educational models: Differentiated Instruction, Understanding by Design, and What Works In Schools. The discussion will take place before an audience of more than 2000 people on June 27. NFocus will manage the lighting and staging for the program as well as record the event to tape from six cameras.

NFocus Signs Film Deal with Hi-Def Entertainment


NFocus has landed a co-production deal with Hi-Def Entertainment. This partnership brings an infusion of financing and a worldwide distribution deal. More specific details:

The production is scheduled to begin pre-production in July with filming beginning in September. The increased filming budget will allow for a more experienced cast and crew and provide greater production value on screen. And, with guaranteed distribution, the film’s international and domestic sales take the guesswork out of the filmmakers’ hands. “It allows us to focus on making the best picture possible and let the experienced sales force secure the payback.”

Salvation Army Selects NFocus for Event Services

NFocus has been selected to provide event AV support for The Salvation Army’s triennial National Social Services Conference. NFocus will be providing sound, lighting, and visual communication elements as part of its event management services for this conference. The conference will convene next spring in Chicago. Volunteers, clergy, and social work administrators from all over the United States and Canada will gather together to advance The Salvation Army’s mission of practical Christian response to human need.

NFocus is excited to partner with The Salvation Army for the third time in support of the National Social Services Conference.

NFocus and Hi-Def Entertainment met this week in Lakeland to finalize the development stages of their co-production deal on the feature project 'Endure'. During the meetings, the producers took time out to have breakfast with project investors.

'Wait' Shares Importance Of Mercy Ministries

The award winning short film 'Wait', produced by NFocus, is set to be distributed to Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters throughout the Southeast. The short film, which depicts an elderly woman living alone, demonstrates the importance of mercy out-reach ministries.

NFocus wrapped up full production of three videos for use by The Salvation Army's Florida Divisional Headquarters. The video segments will be used by the Youth Department during its upcoming state-wide Youth Councils. The videos highlight the positive and negative impacts that come about as a result of internet and wireless communication use by teens. While the videos were produced specifically for use by the Florida Division, they also are being utilized by the Maryland/West Virginia and Oklahoma/Arkansas Divisions as well.

Summit Consulting 'Xtreme Service' Project


NFocus finalized the production of a corporate communication project for Summit Consulting. The video project entitled 'Xtreme Service' will be used as part of Summit's training campaign to ensure a higer standard of service excellence. Based in Lakeland, Fla. since 1977, Summit meets the workers' compensation needs of thousands of employers throughout the Southeast.

NFocus has partnered with the City of Lakeland to bring a unique cultural experience to our city. One Friday a month for three months we are presenting a classic movie on the big screen in the beautiful outdoor environment of Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. The event is free to the public and non-profit organizations are using the event to raise dollars by selling popcorn and drinks. Last night's showing of Casablanca, with over 600 in attendance, was the first event with two more to follow (West Side Story and Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid) over the next two months.

This video is a 30 second broadcast commercial for W. S. Badcock Corporation. The spot is intended to drive up interested in the companies dealer opportunities. It is currently being test marketed in the Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA markets.
